Yesterday was election day for a new prime minister but we haven't been paying much attention we just know the clubs pubs and restaurants in bangkok weren't serving alcohol for a night! so we jetted off to the south for a night but more of that in another post!
It was a good sight to see Martin and Phil tired but grinning as always.

Happy welcoming's to the Kingdom of Thailand

A little visit to Bangkok, the beginnings of the christmas decorations

Connect four is definitely more fun on Koh Samet beach at night.

Especially when there's someone doing this next to where your sitting

Plenty of enjoying the beautiful sea

Koh Samet was so relaxed and it was nice to just chill out for a few days away from the manic atmosphere of Bangkok

Laos

Laos
The time rolled around for the two of us to do our visa run and we made a trip of it taking the boys and some friends with us,

Laos (the vientiane as its also known) used to be ruled by france and you can see the french influence everywhere from the roads to the massive arch de triumph knock off ;)

Next to where we stayed was a Japanese Tea & Coffee house which we chilled out at for a few hours before heading off around Laos for a bit of sight seeing.

Martin and Phil enjoyed their time so much that they will be returning next month! and bringing a few others with them, we look forward to seeing more of our friends soon!
Peace
