P'key monk ceremony

I thought we would kick off this blog with these happy face's, from left to right P'palm, P'joke and P'mon there of the nicest guys you will meet and a big prt of the open room family.
We were heading out to a ceremony in which one of our friends P'key was becoming a monk.
Becoming a monk is a well respected and uplifting time so there were many happy faces and laughs.

:)
Im sure monks aren't supposed to smile at the ceremony but there was no stopping Key.
This ceremony was different to the monk ceremony we went to previously there were many people becoming monks this time.

This temple was different also it was alot more moderm looking than most we had been to.
P'Key bottom corner.
We both couldnt help but smile.

This doesn't even come close to how happy I was.
Monks aren't allowed to touch women, so they found some stand ins to make sure that didn't happen.

After the ceremony we went to eat, I really cant remember why i was pulling that face, but it definitely wasn't the food, that was delicious.
And for the night we headed to the floating markets of Amphawa, it is a brilliant little market where you can buy all sorts.

Tasty Sweets
The lighting everywhere is very peaceful

Overall another beautiful day in Thailand :)

Love
