Sawadee Christmas!

Well what can we say... Merry Christmas, what a mile stone in our adventures here in Thailand, we decided that on Christmas eve it would be awesome to head into Bangkok and take a look at the Christmas lights with P'Tar to get us into the Christmas mood.

The Christmas Decorations were beautiful and made it feel a lot more like christmas.

It was rammed with people taking pictures and getting into the christmas spirt
We made a stop at Big Ben :)

Merry Christmas to you all, Have a wonderful day :)

Sorry it's been a while! Nicks house

Sorry it has been a while :S we've been quite busy having 2 friends here for 3 weeks and both working a few days, but it has given us plenty to blog over the coming weeks.

One of our new friends in Thailand, P'An has a boyfriend that has lived in london for the past 10 years, Nick, he came to Thailand to see her and dropped in to meet us, we hung out with him for a night and made arrangements to go see some sights with him a few days later.
We made our way to an enormous temple on the top of a mountain near to where Nicks was living. This temple is not a traditional Thai temple, it has influences from other places like India and Tibet.
This stature is rare because you never really see pictures of Buddah pointing up and down like this

Beautiful view.

Two way Faceless statue, odd
Getting to the temple was quite a task as there was once again possibly 2000000 stairs.
Beautiful temple
I am the ying and the yang!
All aspects of this temple were interesting, filled with beautiful architecture.
The temple was filled with glorious statues and breathtaking views.
On the way back we stopped at a massive lake that spread as far as the eye could see, filled with exotic birds and wildlife. but those animals are hard to capture on camera so we have this instead!
Workout?

This is Nicks family house in Thailand, it was huge and had beautiful gardens, he had the whole place to himself for a month, he plans to move there maybe in a couple of years.

Thank you Nick for showing us around and hope to see you in the future.

Peace
